Centre drive energy-saving ball mill

The ball mill is a key point device in the dressing plant, with its power consumption generally over 40% of the total power consumption of the whole plant. The ball mill we provide, is a new type energy-saving centre drive ball mill and has got five national patents. It is the most energy-saving, high efficient and reliable new-type product, equal to the international advanced level.


Principle

All components of the centre drive ball mill are located on a same axis or a parallel axis, where the motor, hydraulic clutch, reducer, relief part, main bearing and barrel are fixed in turn. The centre drive replaced the conventional peripheral drive of the gears in the grinding machine. When the motor reaches the rated speed without load, the working oil in hydraulic coupler delivers the torque through the kinetic energy of the motor, driving the reducer and mill cylinder to rotate together, thereby brining the grinder into the working state.


Structural features

Features of the high-power centre drive ball mill

With the advancement of technology and rapid development of the hardened reducer in China, there has been a solid basis for the high-power mill to adopt the centre drive. Its working principle is: the hardened reducer is used to lower the speed and increase the torque; the cylinder is driven to rotate through the coupler and transmission shaft; the rolling bearing remains the same. In this way, the characteristics of the reducer--high drive efficiency, little rolling friction and small static drag torque when the reducer is started -- can be sufficiently applied to save the energy and facilitate the start. The main bearing is lubricated by the self-feeding grease and the reduced by the grease station, assuring the good lubrication. The electronic control is started by the soft combination, making sure that power factor of the motor reaches more than 0.95 and that the motor is smoothly started. The main bearing is lubricated normally, free from maintenance. The non-impact snail feeder replaces the joint feeder avoiding the impact on the equipment. It has been approved good performance by the end users.
